Why Are U.S. Taxes Funding Israel's Military?

The U.S. gives 3.1 billion dollars of U.S. tax payer's money to Israel every year to maintain a military occupation and commit what the United Nations has called "war crimes" in the Palestinian territories. AJ+ asks policy analyst, Phyllis Bennis what this military, political and diplomatic "special relationship" means for the rest of the Middle East and what would be at stake if this unconditional support ended.
